Mosquito and Pest Control Technician

About the role

Weed Man is North America’s largest franchised lawn care company, recruiting energetic, customer-service-oriented individuals to join our team as Mosquito and Pest Control Technicians. You will service residential and commercial properties by applying mosquito, tick/flea, and perimeter pest control products while delivering exceptional customer service. The role includes measuring lawns, providing quotes, conducting lawn analysis, and making field sales, with opportunities to earn commissions by offering additional products and services.

Responsibilities

• Apply mosquito, tick/flea, and perimeter pest control products on customer properties.
• Provide top-tier customer service during property visits.
• Measure lawns, deliver quotes, and perform lawn analysis.
• Make field sales and offer additional products/services to customers.
• Monitor product usage and maintain quality control.
• Train new team members as needed.
• Work independently and as part of a team in various weather conditions, including weekends.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Ability to work 40+ hours per week, including Saturdays, in extreme weather conditions.
• 1 year of experience in pest control and/or lawn care (preferred, but training is available for candidates who align with company values).
• Mosquito Control Certification (7A, 7F) preferred; willing to train and certify the right candidate.

Schedule

Seasonal (Spring, Summer, Fall) with full-time potential, requiring availability for 40+ hours per week, including weekends as needed.
