Mortgage Loan Processor- Full-Time - Louisville, KY OR Corbin, KY

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Review residential loan application files to verify completeness and compliance with credit union standards and policies.
• Types loan application forms.
• SUBMIT mortgage loan application files for underwriting approval.
• TYPES closing documents as needed and forwards to appropriate person for closing.
• CONTACTS specified companies to obtain title exam, survey, appraisal, and flood certification and INFORM underwriter of any discrepancies.
• CALLS employer to verify accuracy of information regarding current employment status.
• PRACTICE confidentiality in employee matters and credit union operations.
• COOPERATE and WORK TOGETHER as a team with co-workers, MAINTAIN a neat work area and PERFORM other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications And Certifications

• High School education or GED required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of similar or related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
