Responsibilities
- Generate new mortgage business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship building.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective borrowers and referral partners.
- Consistently achieve loan production and business development goals.
- Guide borrowers through the mortgage application process, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication.
- Evaluate clients' financial needs and recommend appropriate mortgage solutions.
- Convert leads into funded loans while delivering a positive customer experience.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and business partners.
- Collaborate effectively with processors, underwriters, and cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and efficient loan process.
- Collect, review, and maintain accurate loan documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current on mortgage products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license required.
- Experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer, Mortgage Loan Originator, or in a related mortgage lending role.
- Demonstrated success in generating mortgage business and converting leads into funded loans.
- Strong sales, business development, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Able to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent English, both written and verbal.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Spanish proficiency.
- Experience with mortgage origination systems and CRM platforms.
- Strong knowledge of mortgage products and residential lending practices.
