About the role

The Mortgage Loan Originator plays a crucial role in the UMB mortgage team, which was established in 2013. The team comprises experienced professionals with extensive knowledge in the mortgage industry. The Mortgage Loan Originator's primary responsibility is to assist clients throughout the mortgage application process, from initial assessment to loan closing. They also build relationships with stakeholders, real estate agents, and other partners to attract new clients.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on mortgage options that best fit their needs
  • Build a pipeline of leads and convert them into clients
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Keep clients informed about the progress of their mortgage loans

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • High volume of mortgage sales experience
  • NMLS registration

Pay

Compensation ranges from $20,600 to $114,400, depending on location and experience.
