About the role

We are currently seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) who is passionate about business development and networking with the Houston community. The ideal candidate will focus on outside opportunities for their loan pipelines and earn commission based on their monthly loan volume.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other professionals within the community
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Manage and grow loan pipelines
  • Earn commission based on monthly loan volume

Requirements

  • A minimum of one year prior residential mortgage sales and origination experience
  • Maintain current "eligible status" on the Mortgage Loan Officer designation through NMLS
  • Report any abnormal situations regarding their designation to their supervisor

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Passion for customer service and building relationships

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of mortgage industry regulations and compliance
