Responsibilities
- Advise prospective homebuyers and guide them through the home financing process.
- Work collaboratively with other internal sales/operations teams to streamline loan manufacturing.
- Manage a pipeline of warm leads, converting them into closed business more effectively than competitors.
- Identify and implement solutions to meet customer unique needs, adopting a consultative approach.
- Ensure compliance with investor guidelines for all necessary documents submitted to Underwriting.
- Quote rates and guidelines accurately and fairly.
- Master POS, CRM, and LOS systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the loan process.
Requirements
- An NMLS MLO License.
Qualifications
- Residential mortgage lending experience of 2+ years and active licenses.
- Exceptional ability to transition buyers from initial contact to closing.
- Unflinching commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication skills, both internally and externally.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
- Expertise in Desktop Underwriter (DU) and Loan Prospector/Loan Product Advisor (LP/LPA).
- Effective multitasking and organizational skills.
- Proactive problem-solving and need anticipation.
- Drive to innovate and build new initiatives.
- Attention to detail with a strong focus on quality.
