Essential Responsibilities
- Underwrite a limited range of mortgage loans, primarily focusing on HELOCs, fixed-rate Home Equity loans, Equity Rich fixed-rate loans and Equity Rich lines of Credits.
- Assist with first mortgage refinances, purchases, and construction loans as needed.
- Review mortgage loan applications, credit reports, financial documents, and collateral to make approval or denial decisions based on established criteria and program guidelines.
- Assess loan risk and request additional information when needed.
- Work with processors and loan officers to communicate approval conditions.
- Review property appraisals to confirm collateral value is properly documented.
Education And Experience
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum of one year of mortgage experience or equivalent is preferred.

- Strong time management and organizational skills who can work in a fast-paced environment.
