About the role

FAR Inspections is seeking experienced independent contractors to perform residential occupancy verifications on behalf of mortgage lenders. The role offers a flexible schedule and the potential for full-time or supplemental income.

Responsibilities

Complete property inspections within 4 days of assignment.
Report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application.
Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments.
Fill out a short form in an app.
Make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards.
Drive for extended periods, making numerous stops in the assigned territory.

Requirements

Computer with internet access.
Reliable vehicle (with good gas mileage preferred).
Smartphone (Android or iPhone).
Printer.
A valid driver's license for a background check.

Pay and Hours

This is a 1099 position. Each inspection has a flat rate, which varies based on the county and volume. You will earn the equivalent of $20-$30 per hour, depending on the county and workload. The number of inspections per month can range from 20 to 500, with work being consistent month-to-month. Higher volume counties offer higher rates.
