Our team is built around technology, research, and design, valuing curiosity, independent thinking, and entrepreneurial passion.

About the role

We created the Morningstar Summer Internship Program for college students entering their final year as a first step toward successful, long-term careers. Participants contribute to Morningstar’s business through ten-week individual and group projects, learning about the financial services and securities industries while gaining critical business development skills. Interns receive hands-on mentoring from colleagues and the People & Culture team. All positions are based in our Chicago office, five days a week.

Interns are placed across a variety of teams based on their interests and strengths, with final placement determined through the interview process. Previous teams include Editorial, Market Intelligence, Product Management, Corporate Design, Research, AI, and Office Management.
