Morning P/T Daycare Assistant Teacher

About the role

Happy Haven Childcare is looking to add part-time classroom assistant teachers to our facility. Classroom assistant teachers provide valuable support by offering extra supervision in the classroom and playground areas, assisting with activities for children ages 0-5 years old, maintaining the cleanliness of the classroom and general facility, helping children with morning educational and personal-care routines, and assisting families with daily arrival.

The morning shift time is 6:30am-10:30am. There is an opportunity to add more hours to this shift for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with classroom activities
• Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the classroom area
• Assist with morning care routines
• Supervise children ages 0-5 years old

Requirements

• Successfully pass criminal records/background check and fingerprinting
• Attend all scheduled work shifts on time
• Have a willingness to work with a variety of age groups 0-5 years old
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

Schedule

6:30am–10:30am (morning shift)
