Morning CHHA

About the role

Visiting Angels Hillsborough, NJ is looking to add a caring, compassionate Morning CHHA to our team. A Morning CHHA works in support of the client’s safety, dignity, well-being and ability to remain living at home. Our office in Hillsborough provides Certified Caregivers for the local area including Belle Mead, Edison, Piscataway, Somerset, and many others. The CHHA works under a Registered Nurse, has no supervision responsibilities, and has HIPAA‑restricted access to certain client information.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care and Grooming
• Ambulation
• Special Procedures
• Homemaking, Meal Preparation, Light Housekeeping
• Assistance with other Activities of Daily Living

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA), licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing
• HHA Certification Reimbursement available after 90 days
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Drivers Preferred
• Ability to perform patient observation accurately and respond promptly to changing health conditions
• Compassionate attitude combined with excellent communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina to assist with mobility tasks and perform caregiving duties throughout shifts

Pay

Hourly per-diem, non-exempt Direct Care staff member (no guaranteed minimum number of hours per week).
