Morning Babysitter for 1-Year-Old

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic babysitter for our 1-year-old daughter, Arrya, in Chicago, IL. Although her grandmother will be at home, extra support is needed to keep Arrya engaged and cheerful while I work from home. The job does not involve any driving, bathing duties, or pet care.

Schedule

• July 27, 29, and 30: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• August 3 – 7 (full week): 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM each day
• August 27, 29, and 30: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Weekday mornings starting the week of September 14 (exact timeframe to be confirmed)

Responsibilities

• Assist with Arrya’s morning routine
• Prepare and feed her breakfast
• Engage her in playful activities (Arrya enjoys dinosaurs, farm animals, music, and dancing)
• Carry her up and down staircases in our multi-level townhome (she is not yet independently walking down stairs)

Requirements

• Comfortable providing attentive one-on-one care
• Ability to carry a 1-year-old up and down stairs
