About the role
The Pest Control Service Technician is responsible for inspecting and removing pests from residences and businesses in a timely, responsive, and courteous manner. They provide excellent client service and recommend additional services to customers.
Responsibilities
- Inspects and removes pests from residences and businesses
- Uses restricted products and materials according to manufacturer labels, regulatory guidelines, and company policies
- Maintains customer documentation on product usage and service scope
- Identifies and supports sales opportunities in the service territory
- Communicates clearly and concisely with customers
- Works autonomously and collaboratively with all types of personalities
- Adheres to punctuality and reliability standards
- Participates in ongoing training and remains technology-savvy
- Writes and speaks effectively
- Lives within the service territory (Springfield and Hartford metro areas)
- Has Massachusetts and Connecticut pesticide applicator licenses (a plus)
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record and proof of insurability
- At least 1 year of Licensed Pesticide Technician experience (preferred)
- MA and CT Pesticide Applicator License (preferred)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as a Pest Control Technician (preferred)
- Driver's license (required)
- MA and CT Pesticide Applicator License (preferred)
