Moore Dryer - Night Shift Resource Pool

About the role

This position involves working shifts from 7pm to 7am, earning a base pay rate of $21.11 plus an additional $1.50 shift differential. TPMs play a crucial role in the mill, often requiring mandatory overtime to support the drying process.

Responsibilities

• Flexibility to assist in other roles within the mill as needed.
• Mandatory LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) training must be completed.
• Wear safety glasses, hearing protection, and appropriate gloves.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
• Keep the drying area clean to prevent fires.
• Feed the dryer according to standard work procedures.
• Grade veneer correctly and stack panels neatly.
• Remove trash from dryer stackers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Entry-level computer skills, including Auto Grading.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and make minor decisions.
• Regular work with lightweight materials, with occasional handling of moderate-weight materials.
• Continuous mental and visual attention required.
• Work in short, repetitive cycles.
