About the Role
The Moonlighter (Extra Call for Pay Trainees) will immediately respond and assume responsibilities for patient care by covering the assigned clinical service. The role includes performing patient procedures under the supervision of the attending on-site and documenting care in the patient record.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the care of the patient.
- Collaborate with the Attending Physician under their supervision.
- Perform procedures as needed for the patient under the supervision of an Attending Physician, when applicable.
- Adhere to service principles with a customer service focus of innovation, service excellence, and teamwork to provide the highest quality care and service to patients, families, co-workers, and others.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Current trainee in an approved fellowship or residency program.
- Current Illinois Medical License.
- Current ALS (Advanced Life Support) verification.

Pay
Hourly pay range: $48.08–$480.77. Compensation is competitive and fair, aligned with market rates and internal equity, reflecting individual contributions, experience, and expertise. Ranges are regularly reviewed to stay aligned with market conditions.
