Monthly Meetup: Subpoenas, Searches, and Signal

About the event

Attorney George C. Lobb will discuss his involvement in a recent federal case involving the forensic extraction of incoming Signal messages from iOS notifications. He will also provide a "Know Your Rights" presentation, covering how to respond to subpoenas and law enforcement encounters when you are not the accused.

Attendees are encouraged to read the Fourth Amendment and Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure 41 prior to the meeting.

How to attend

This meetup will be held at FUTO Open Repair Workshop, 2410 San Antonio St, Austin, TX 78705, on Tuesday, June 9th, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM CST.

• Enter through the center door facing the street and proceed upstairs to the event hall on the 2nd floor.
• Free parking is available in front of the building, along with metered street parking.
• The nearby UT San Antonio Garage charges $3/hour.
