Monitoring Excellence Academy - OMEA - Oncology / CAR T & Gen Meds - CRA 1

About the role

The Monitoring Excellence Academy at Fortrea is seeking experienced Oncology or Ophthalmology Clinical Research Coordinators or Research Nurses with 2+ years of current experience. Candidates must have 2+ years of Oncology, CAR T, or Gen Meds as a CRC or research nurse. Positions are available in various US hubs and for French-speaking candidates in Montreal, Canada. Travel requirements are 65-70%.

Responsibilities

• Utilize skills and knowledge to provide high-standard care in clinical trials and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain study files and conduct pre-study and initiation visits.
• Liaise with vendors and manage site management as per project plans.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and protect patient safety.
• Monitor data for completeness and accuracy.
• Manage registry activities as per project plans.
• Report Serious Adverse Events (SAEs), produce reports, and follow up on SAEs.
• Review and query CRFs or other data collection tools.
• Train new employees and assist with designated clinical projects.
• Act as a local client contact and coordinate clinical projects.

Requirements

• University or college degree or certification in a related allied health profession from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years as a Study Coordinator or Research Nurse in specified therapeutic areas, with Oncology experience preferred; CAR T experience a plus.
• 60-70% overnight travel.

Pay

The target pay range is $80-90K.
