Essential Functions
- Maintains accurate records of telemetry patients
- Notifies RN or supervisor of rhythm changes immediately
- Sets up the monitor system for telemetry ordered patients
- Troubleshoots transmitters and wires for telemetry ordered patients
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Expectations
- Adequate reading, writing, and speaking skills in English
- Good and regular attendance
- Satisfactory score on EKG interpretation competency test
- Able to accurately identify cardiac rhythms and understand their significance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current BLS certification
- EKG certification preferred
Pay
$21.00 - $23.79/Hour
