Responsibilities
- Performs telemetry monitoring under the supervision of an RN.
- Reports to: Director of Critical Care Unit/Stepdown.
- Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately.
- Identifies and corrects for artifacts.
- Reports abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the nursing staff.
- Tests equipment for proper working order and reports on equipment problems to the supervisor.
- Reviews and complies with LifePoint Code of Conduct and all relevant Company and Division policies and procedures.
