Monitor Tech

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Unit Director and/or supervisor, assists in patient monitoring, clerical, receptionist, coordination duties and maintaining the physical environment of the area.

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent

Training and Experience

• Must successfully complete computer training
• Must be able to successfully pass a basic arrhythmia test with a score of 80% or better within 90 days of hire or transfer to position
• Current EKG education required through Net Learning within 90 days of hire or transfer to department
