About the role
Responsible for monitoring cardiac rhythms and assisting the nursing staff in recognizing significant dysrhythmias to initiate appropriate therapies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient cardiac rhythms
- Assist in the recognition and management of significant dysrhythmias
- Work closely with the nursing staff to ensure timely interventions
Requirements
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment
- Successful completion of an EKG course
- One year of experience, preferred
Qualifications
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills
