About the role

JYL Transportation offers a unique opportunity for a Van Monitor. The position provides a competitive starting rate of $18/hr, potential for full-time hours, flexible shifts from 6:00am-8:00pm, and the option to earn additional income through ride-sharing. Benefits include a 401(k) plan, dental and vision insurance, and company-paid life insurance. Training is provided, and the role requires being 19 years old and passing a background check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor clients' behavior to provide appropriate guidance, feedback, and direction when necessary.
• Safely assist clients as needed, including helping them enter and exit the vehicle, using the vehicle’s lap and shoulder belts, and safely securing them in car seats and booster seats.
• Communicate effectively and clearly in English with clients, parents, program staff, and JYL staff.

Requirements

• Age 19+
• Ability to pass a background check, CORI & SORI

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible shifts from 6:00am-8:00pm.
• Option to earn additional income through ride-sharing.
