About the role

We are seeking a dedicated legal professional to join our boutique immigration law firm in Encino, California. The ideal candidate will work closely with Monica Mansouri, an experienced immigration attorney, to provide individualized representation to clients with integrity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for immigration trials and hearings
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents
• Represent clients before Immigration Courts to achieve favorable outcomes
• Assist in the acquisition of immigrant and non-immigrant visas
• Handle case presentations before the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school (University of La Verne, College of Law preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science or related field (California State University, Northridge preferred)
• Over 20 years of experience in immigration law (for senior role alignment)
• Admission to the State Bar of California and relevant federal courts

Skills

• Strong trial preparation and litigation skills
• Excellent legal research and writing abilities
• Experience with immigrant and non-immigrant visa processes
• Familiarity with appeals before the BIA and Ninth Circuit
• Commitment to client-centered, ethical legal practice
