Money Out Processor
About the Role
As a member of the Money Out/Claims team, you will process a variety of transactions disbursing funds to participants, including loans, non-periodic distributions, periodic distributions, systematic withdrawals, or claim payouts. This role involves strong communication and collaboration with colleagues across internal departments, as well as direct written communication with advisors and participants. Maintaining high-quality outputs and supporting a strong control environment are crucial. Claims support also includes handling the notice of death process.
This position is based in Corebridge Financial’s Houston, TX office and follows a hybrid working policy, allowing colleagues to work both in-office and remotely. You will set up your own home office and work remotely (until the office reopens) with minimal supervision, using provided tools and equipment.

Responsibilities
- Maintain high work standards by reviewing and processing complex financial documents.
- Process all requests while adhering to quality review and productivity standards.
- Use customer service skills to communicate accurately, professionally, and positively.
- Learn, understand, and interpret options to correctly process requests or determine if they are not in good order based on product, plan, group, and IRS regulations.
- Work in a team environment, collaborate with colleagues inside and outside the organization, share information, and strive for continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Handle special projects as assigned.
- Evaluate and resolve escalated and high-priority situations using research skills and alternative approaches.
Requirements
- Ability to work successfully in a structured, fast-paced team environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Advanced computer knowledge, proficiency with MS Office, and strong professional typing skills.
- Ability to learn new software applications, openness to digital tools, dual monitor use, and analytical research skills.
- Availability to work overtime on short notice.
- Minimum of 2 years of clerical/administrative experience with a demonstrated background of loyalty to past employers.
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution; college degree preferred.
