We’re looking for a qualified and experienced Money Advice Caseworker to join our advice team. You’ll use your knowledge and expertise to provide specialist advice to clients facing financial difficulties, helping them understand their options, resolve debt issues and improve their financial wellbeing.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist money and debt advice to clients
- Help clients understand their options and resolve debt issues
- Manage your own caseload of clients
- Deliver advice that is free, confidential, impartial, and independent
Requirements
- Recognised money advice qualification
- Recent experience providing debt and money advice
- Experience managing your own caseload
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good understanding of debt remedies, insolvency options, and the interaction between debt and welfare benefits
- Commitment to delivering high-quality advice
About the role
You'll be joining a supportive and collaborative team, helping people find a way forward when they're facing financial difficulties. The role can be carried out remotely from anywhere within the UK, on a hybrid basis, or office-based from your choice of our North Yorkshire offices across Harrogate, Malton, Northallerton, Richmond, Scarborough, or Selby.
