About the role

Pediatric Home Service provides 1:1 pediatric home health care for children with medical complexities, helping them grow and thrive safely at home. This position is based in Shawnee, KS, caring for a 1‑year‑old child with a G‑tube. Hours are Monday‑Friday, 8 a.m. to 4/5 p.m., with flexibility. Since 1990, Pediatric Home Service has been a trusted leader in pediatric home health and private duty nursing, specializing in individualized in‑home care that allows children to live at home, attend school, and build meaningful memories with their families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized, one‑on‑one pediatric nursing care in the child's home.
• Build meaningful relationships with the child and family while monitoring health and development.
• Support the child's ability to live at home, attend school, and create family memories.
• Work as part of a collaborative team with 24/7 support from dedicated clinical staff.

Requirements

• Current RN or LPN license.
• Pediatric experience is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to learn and complete specialized training in ventilator, tracheostomy, and gastrostomy tube (G‑tube) care.
• Ability to work a flexible Monday‑Friday schedule.
