Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver's license, working vehicle, and current, up-to-date insurance
• To adhere to the client's plan of care
• To be flexible with schedules per client needs
• One year of in-home, caregiver experience preferred
• To have good communication skills, including active listening
• To be calm in emergent situations and inform staff of any changes to client status
• To pass background and drug screening

Responsibilities:

• To assist clients with ambulation and mobility
• To remind clients of medication
• To assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• To prepare light meals according to dietary restrictions
• To transport clients to and from shops, pharmacies, or appointments
• To perform light housekeeping duties for the client
• To be a pleasant, engaging, and supportive companion

Skills:

• One year proven experience as an in-home caregiver (preferred)
• Knowledge and demonstration of DME such as hoist, wheelchairs, transfer benches, walker/training
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response, CPR preferred
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities
• To be willing to adhere to health and safety standards
• To be respectful and compassionate
• To have good time management skills
• To have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Pay:

$14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Flexible schedule and locations to work

Location:

We service Charleston, Dorchester, and Berkeley counties, and surrounding areas in SC.
