Molding Supervisor in Training - 2nd & 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team in the execution of daily production tasks and in continuous improvement
• Troubleshoot injection molding processes and equipment. Problem-solve in order to develop corrective actions for customer issues and ideas for improvement
• Schedule staff and create assignments in order to hit daily goals
• Prioritize production orders and oversee the production of quality products to ensure our customer standards and needs are met
• Maintain the work area, equipment and molds to provide the team with an organized workplace and proper tools
• Responsible for machine safety and for following all prescribed lock out procedures
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Understanding of Royal’s quality systems
• Must be willing to be a safety coordinator (or be a current safety coordinator)
• Good time management skills and able to multitask several projects under pressure
• Excellent attendance record and flexible to overtime
• Experience with implementing/maintaining 5S
• Experience with implementing a Continuous Improvement Project with tangible results
• Experience with Syteline is a plus
• Current supervision experience is required (or Royal University completion)
• Experience using Google G Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Office is a plus
• Must be willing to support different shifts as needed
• Hilo license is required and must be willing to support material handling functions
