Primary Job Responsibilities
- Inspect parts visually for defects
- Perform visual and gauge inspections to specification
- Package and label products as directed in WI
- Trim all parts that need to be trimmed
- Keep cell or line assigned to him/her clean at all times to ensure the safety of the plant
- Identify, dispose, and label scrap
- Report all problems with the product to technicians or supervisor
- Operate equipment used in the Molding area such as the band saw and pneumatic cutter
- If the machine stops working, notify technician
- Follow all safety procedures and report any safety problems to the supervisor immediately, as well as using 5s guidelines established for the department
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Involvement in our continuous improvement and safety initiatives
- Communicate when uncertain of parts that may need to be scraped by contacting a supervisor or QA technician to inspect the product
- Supports the established Quality policy

Physical Requirements
- Walking – frequently up to 12 hrs
- Standing – up to 12 hrs
- Climbing – occasionally
- Squatting/Stooping – occasionally
- Reaching – occasionally
- Lifting - up to 40# frequently
- Lifting – 50# to 75# with assisted apparatus (overhead crane/forklift)
