Mold Technician IV - 1st Shift
SMC Ltd · Somerset, WI · 3 wk ago
EngineeringFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections for headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Use for each heading only if there is real specific content. We must not repeat job title. Must preserve all substantive info, remove boilerplate, navigation, legal, EEO, etc. Also remove duplicated lines. Must not include sections with filler like "commensurate with experience". Must only include sections when posting has real specific content.
Let's parse the posting.
Content:
- About SMC Ltd.: description of company. This could be "About the role"? Actually "About SMC Ltd." is about company, not role. The instruction: use headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we need to map content accordingly.
We have:
Job Summary: Setup, startup, and troubleshoot IMM, Robot, Secondary equipment, and processes. Position mentors and coaches Mold Tech Level One and Level Two. We welcome applications from Mold Technician candidates at all experience levels—from recent graduates to seasoned professionals. Whether you're just starting your career or bringing years of expertise, we’re excited to explore how you can contribute to our team.
That's like a summary; could go under "About the role" maybe.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: list of duties.
Essential Qualifications: list.
Desirable Qualifications: list.
ADA Requirements: details about physical demands, etc. Might be considered "Requirements"? Or maybe "Qualifications"? The instruction: Use headings for Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to decide.
We have "Essential Qualifications" and "Desirable Qualifications". Those could go under "Qualifications". Could separate essential vs desirable? But we just need to output sections; we can combine them under Qualifications with sub-lists? Probably just list them.
We have "What SMC has to offer:" list of benefits: Clean, Climate-Controlled Environment, Stable schedule, Paid holiday and PTO, Health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement savings, Life and disability insurance, Promotional opportunities, Training and career growth programs, Amazing co-workers, Tuition reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program.
Also there is a schedule mentioned at end: "#IND 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday". That's schedule.
Pay: Not mentioned. So we should NOT include Pay section.
Benefits: we have benefits list.
Schedule: we have schedule.
Skills: maybe we can extract skills from qualifications: knowledge of IQMS, material handling system, molds cleaning, mechanically inclined, interpersonal communication, etc. Could be a Skills section.
Requirements: maybe essential qualifications and ADA requirements? Could be Requirements.
But we must not create sections with filler. We need to ensure each section has real specific content.
Let's plan sections:
- About the role: use Job Summary content.
- Responsibilities: Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities.
- Requirements: Essential Qualifications + ADA Requirements? Or maybe Requirements = Essential Qualifications (including high school diploma, completion of SMC Mold Tech Level One and Two, RJG classes, 1-year experience, knowledge of IQMS, material handling, molds cleaning, mechanically inclined, fast-paced, interpersonal communication, some travel, English). ADA Requirements could be considered part of Requirements as well (physical demands). We'll include them.
- Qualifications: Desirable Qualifications (Overhead Hoist certified, Pallet Jack certified, Lock Out Tag Out certified, knowledge of IQMS, material handling system, molds cleaning). Note some duplicate with essential; but we can still list.
- Skills: maybe combine knowledge and abilities: knowledge of IQMS, material handling system, molds cleaning, mechanically inclined, interpersonal communication, ability to read/write English, ability to adapt to changes, etc. Could be separate but we might avoid duplication. However instruction: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." So maybe we don't need Skills if we already have Qualifications covering knowledge. But we can still include Skills if we have distinct content not covered elsewhere. Let's see: Essential Qualifications includes knowledge of IQMS, material handling system, molds cleaning, mechanically inclined, interpersonal communication, ability to adapt, English. Desirable Qualifications includes certifications and same knowledge duplicates. So Skills could be things like "Mentor and train Mold Technicians Level One and Two" (that's a duty). Might be better to not create Skills section to avoid thin.
- Benefits: list from "What SMC has to offer:".
- Schedule: the shift timing.
- Pay: none, omit.
We must not include boilerplate like EEO, etc. Remove duplicated lines.

Schedule
6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday
We must not include any extra text like "#IND". The schedule line had "#IND 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday". We should drop the "#IND". So just the time. Check for any duplicated content: In Qualifications we repeated knowledge of IQMS etc which also appear in Requirements. That's okay; they are desirable vs essential. Could be considered duplication but it's from posting; we must preserve all substantive info. It's okay. Check for boilerplate removal: We removed EEO, equal opportunity, etc. Also removed navigation, cookie, legal, scam-warning, application instructions. We removed the final paragraph about accommodations and EEO. Also removed the line "At SMC Ltd. we recognize that people come with a wealth of experience..." etc. That's boilerplate encouraging diversity; we should remove as it's EEO/boilerplate. Also removed "Please let us know if you require reasonable accommodations during the interview process." etc. Also removed "#IND". Good. Check that we didn't miss any substantive info: The "What SMC has to offer:" list we captured. The "Job Summary" we captured. The "Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities" we captured. The "Essential Qualifications" we captured. The "Desirable Qualifications" we captured. The "ADA Requirements" we captured. The schedule we captured. We didn't include any mention of "SMC Ltd." description at start (About SMC Ltd.) - is that substantive? It's about company, not role. The instruction says use headings like About the role, Responsibilities, etc. The company description could be considered "About the role"?
