Mold Technician

About the role

Responsible for setting up and operating injection mold machines to produce parts from raw material to final product, following production schedules, preparing documentation, and inspecting parts.

Responsibilities

• Operate different types of injection mold machines.
• Load existing programs onto machines.
• Adjust molding parameters using measuring equipment to ensure accurate parts.
• Understand various types of tooling used in molding and their proper application.
• Conduct basic preventative maintenance and diagnostics.
• Troubleshoot basic symptoms on a variety of machines.
• Remove and install barrel assemblies on machines.
• Remove and install mold bases.
• Change oil and oil filters on machines.
• Complete production and inspection documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of related experience preferred.
• Basic math skills.
