Mold Technician 2

Job Duties

• Perform mechanical mold change overs on all presses under minimal supervision
• Perform minor mechanical adjustments on all presses
• Change Tooling in molding machine via Industrial Lift (York Forklift License Required)
• Run assigned mechanical equipment
• Ensure that items produced pass quality control requirements
• Perform moderately advanced troubleshooting of equipment and perform adjustments on all presses
• Read and interpret blueprints if applicable
• Use moderately advanced measuring instruments
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
• Adequately adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
• Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education

• Handle moderately complex issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher level staff
• Possess solid working knowledge of subject matter
• 1 to 3 years of experience

• Basic verbal and written communication skills
