Mold Repair/Tooling Technician

About the role

Maintain and repair plastic molds and tooling equipment using specialized machinery and tools. Perform routine maintenance on molding machines and related equipment. Assist in the production process by setting up molds and preparing materials for injection molding.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain injection molding machines and other related equipment.
• Assist in the setup and operation of molds and tooling equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of molding machines and related equipment.
• Prepare materials for injection molding according to specifications.
• Document work performed and report any issues to supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in mold repair or similar field.
• Knowledge of injection molding processes and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willingness to travel to different locations within the company as needed.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.

Pay

Hourly rate: 28 - 35 USD
