Essential Responsibilities
- Attend shift huddles at both start of shift and end of shift.
- Provide information on encountered gaps or issues from their shift activities.
- Ensure safety and work safely during their shift, including identifying and addressing safety concerns.
- Achieve production metric goals by utilizing GEMBA boards and PDCA process: mold downtime, mold change time, and scrap.
- Complete the mold/material change list as needed or directed by the Mold Senior Technician and/or Scheduling.
- Complete the mold change report sheet and other documentation/tasks as needed for all applicable mold changes.
- Conduct a material audit within the first 4 hours of the shift.
- Maintain/clean resin levels on all machines and main silos.
- Replace Gaylord supplies as needed or directed.
- Follow and maintain proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) practices per ADAC policy.
- Participate in weekly technical staff meetings.
Required Education & Experience
- 1 or more years of injection molding die setting experience.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Preferred Education & Experience
- 3 or more years of die setting experience in injection molding and automotive industry.
- Any injection molding relative certificates and training: Paulson, RJG, Robotics, etc.
