Mold Maker Trainee - Entry level

About the role

Do you like to work on cars or other mechanical things? Looking for energetic and self-motivated candidates who want to apprentice in a skilled trade career as a Mold Maker.

Responsibilities

• Receive on‑the‑job training under the direction of an experienced mold maker.
• Learn the basics of injection tools, the components of injection molds, how to read CAD designs, and how to maintain and clean injection molds.
• Perform all tasks assigned by the manager, including supporting other departments.

Requirements and Skills

• Mechanical skills and experience with hand power tools, precision tools, and measuring tools.
• Good math skills and basic computer skills.
• Ability to perform hands‑on physical work: lifting up to 25 lb., constant standing, walking, some bending and climbing.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must pass pre‑employment drug screening (drug‑free workplace).
