Mold Maker Trainee - Entry level

About the Role

Apprenticeship opportunity for energetic and self-motivated candidates interested in a skilled trade career as a Mold Maker. The selected candidate will receive on-the-job training under the direction of an experienced mold maker, learning the basics of injection tools, mold components, CAD design reading, and mold maintenance and cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on physical work, including lifting up to 25 lbs., constant standing, walking, bending, and climbing.
• Work independently and support other departments as assigned by your manager.
• Learn and apply skills related to injection molds, including reading CAD designs and maintaining/cleaning molds.

Requirements

• Mechanical skills and experience with hand power tools, precision tools, and measuring tools.
• Good math skills and basic computer skills.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening (drug-free workplace).

Schedule

• Day shift and night shift opportunities available (night shift receives a shift premium).
