Mold Maintenance Technician

Duties And Responsibilities

• Remove and reinstall molds as needed.
• Inspect molds for damage and communicate with direct management about damaged molds.
• Ensure all molds are in good working condition.
• Maintain a clean and organized department including workspace, mold storage, and mold maintenance cage.
• Assist with occasional production support when production workload is heavy.
• Report any lost or damaged tools to management.

Qualifications And Requirements

• Experience in a position demonstrating strong communication skills.
• Must be available for short-notice overtime and work weekends when necessary.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment while in the plant.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail required.
• Accurate attendance is required.

Working Conditions

• Regularly required to talk and hear.
• Very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day.
• Uses lifting devices to move and install molds depending on the location and weight of the mold.
• Frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
• Occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites.
• The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

Position Type And Expected Hours Of Work

• This is a full-time position.
• Must be available for overtime and work weekends when necessary.
