Responsibilities
- Review customer data for tooling feasibility and propose design solutions
- Model mold design and create fully toleranced 2D manufacturing solutions
- Collaborate with shop personnel on manufacturing plans
- Hold internal and external mold design reviews with team and customers
- Check peer mold designs
- Support quoting as needed
Requirements
- Proficient with Pro E (Creo) or similar CAD software
- Strong understanding of design for manufacturability
- Able to understand and incorporate customer standards/specifications into a mold design
- Able to work in a steady professional manner with little or no supervision required
- Able to work in a team environment and participate in engineering reviews
- Must be detail-oriented
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Prior quoting experience is a plus
