Mohs Surgeon

About the role

Dermatologist will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatologic care to pediatric and adult patients in an on-site setting in Bellaire, TX. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, diagnosing and treating a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions, and developing individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

The role involves performing dermatologic procedures, including minor surgeries and laser treatments, and managing conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancers, and cosmetic concerns. The Dermatologist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and stay current with emerging therapies and best practices. This position requires active participation in quality improvement, patient education, and practice growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Clinical expertise in Medicine and Dermatology, with the ability to manage acute and chronic skin conditions across diverse patient populations.
• Interest or experience in Cosmetic Dermatology, including injectables, laser procedures, and other aesthetic treatments.
• Experience diagnosing and treating Acne and other common dermatologic disorders using evidence-based protocols.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Dermatology, with an active or eligible Texas medical license.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment, collaborating with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and support staff.
• Dedication to continuous professional development and staying current with advancements in medical and cosmetic dermatology.
• Prior experience in outpatient dermatology practice or fellowship training in a dermatologic subspecialty is beneficial.
