Modeling and Simulations Software Developer
BAE Systems is seeking a Modeling and Simulations (M&S) Software Developer to support our government customer in a mission-critical role related to modeling and simulations.
About the role
The M&S Software Developer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems) based upon documented requirements.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Systems, CM, and other Software Engineers across the full software lifecycle.
- Solve tough engineering challenges – debugging, fixing, and integrating software across multiple baselines.
- Software testing, validation, and verification activities.
Requirements
- Must be a US citizen and possess a Secret level clearance.
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, and minimum of 4 years work experience or equivalent experience.
- Modeling and simulations experience.
- Software development in high-level language (C++).
- Software engineering processes, methodologies, and tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Physics-based modeling and simulations.
- Agile Development experience.
- Designing and/or implementing software algorithms.
Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $72,150 - $122,655. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
