Modeling and Simulation Analyst VV&A

Roles And Responsibilities

• Support MDA/SEQV Systems Verification, serving as the MDS M&S agent.
• Audit Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) and Digital Models against specified requirements to ensure their suitability for MDS simulations.
• Analyze M&S VV&A in areas such as radars/sensors (RF/IR), threat, environment, interceptors, communications, or other simulated BMDS components.
• Create code-based data analysis tools to evaluate performance parameters outlined in analysis and accreditation plans.
• Conduct research on technical papers related to models and identify pertinent data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including software developers and accreditation agents to gather adequate VV&A evidence and resolve modeling issues.
• Attend and participate in technical interchange meetings, prepare reports, and present VV&A findings.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• US citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science, with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with MatLab and/or Python is preferred.
• Understanding of radar principles and models is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, necessary for generating briefings, reports, and technical documentation.
