Modeling and Simulation Analyst P3 (Onsite)
What You Will Do
The Pratt & Whitney Aftermarket Systems Engineering and Modeling (ASEM) organization is a global team dedicated to supporting long-term commercial agreements with airline customers and driving Pratt & Whitney profitability. These agreements require a deep understanding of life-of-plan expectations, which the team delivers through an enterprise forecast simulation tool connecting contract requirements, time-on-wing, technical issues, cost, and other key drivers. These forecasts feed aftermarket financial contract evaluations, new engine business, as well as tactical fleet management, serving as a central pillar driving aftermarket P&L.
The ASEM organization is looking for a Modeling and Simulation Analyst to join the Aftermarket Modeling and Decision Intelligence team (AMDI) team with a focus on forecast model development, validation, and enhancement to support current and future business needs. The candidate will work alongside other groups within engineering inclusive of the Engine Design & Systems Integration and aftermarket organizations.
- Development of Python based Next Gen forecast simulation model including logic fixes, enhancements, and new feature creation.
- Follow established scrum process supporting on-going model releases, testing, validation, and ticket creation / closure.
- Validate model results through production process ecosystem.
- Leverage SQL, Python, Excel to create automation and process enhancement supporting model development and validation.
- Learn aftermarket business processes and support future state enhancements and optimization of simulation models to support business processes.
- Engage in process changes through CORE and the P&W leadership operating model.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- 5 years of engineering experience or 3 years with an advanced degree
Qualifications We Prefer
- Programming proficiency and digital tool development experience
- Systems engineering experience and familiarity with commercial aircraft engines
- Experience in agile development projects
- Python proficiency with some object-oriented programming knowledge
- Applied experience working with large datasets and using SQL
- Understanding and/or eagerness to learn PW business processes and aftermarket financial ecosystem
- Demonstrated leadership and self-direction. Willingness to both teach others and learn new techniques.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Pay Range
The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
