Model Risk Associate - AI Risk Management

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Model Risk Associate - AI Risk Management to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will focus on advancing AI and machine learning risk management within a highly regulated financial services environment. You will lead analytics initiatives that help business leaders understand model behavior, assess emerging risks, and translate complex findings into practical guidance. The position partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to shape analytic solutions, improve decision-making, and support responsible use of advanced technologies.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced analytics projects and consult with business partners to define project scope
• Analyze trends in structured and unstructured data to provide actionable insights
• Package and communicate analytic findings using appropriate data visualizations
• Collaborate with leadership to develop analytics strategies aligned with business objectives
• Design analytics solutions tailored to business needs using statistical and programming tools
• Review and provide feedback on analytic solution designs to team members
• Build and manage relationships as a trusted advisor to clients and partners

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in advanced analytics or a related field
• Strong understanding of AI/ML and generative AI systems
• Proficient in SQL and Python programming languages
• Experience in project management and leading analytics projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Education in statistics, actuarial science, engineering, or a related quantitative field preferred

Pay

$118,000 – $222,000 annually
