Responsibilities
- Provides prompt, courteous service to guests while maintaining a friendly and pleasant atmosphere at the Pool, bar, or casino area.
- Delivers quality service to both internal and external guests, ensuring timely food and beverage standards.
- Greets guests with eye contact, a smile, and a warm, friendly greeting following company hospitality standards.
- Reads kitchen prep tickets and identifies food items promptly.
- Gathers, plates, or bags food items with necessary utensils and condiments based on order quantity.
- Delivers or “runs” food to VIP sections or pool areas once prepared by the kitchen.
- Identifies and corrects missing or incomplete menu items.
- Ensures food orders are handled carefully and delivered promptly.
- Assists servers as needed, including placing and inspecting orders for quality.
- Solves guest problems by assisting them and alerting supervisors of complaints.
- Maintains knowledge of all in-house services and functions.
- Ensures cleanliness of the kitchen expedition area.
- Actively promotes and demonstrates superior customer service in line with company standards.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and reports potential issues to management.
- Keeps work area clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter.
- Performs all job duties safely and responsibly.
- Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- At least six months of experience in hospitality and/or food and beverage preferred.
- Flexible to work all shifts, including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues diplomatically and tactfully to resolve problems.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under time constraints.
- Strong listening, judgment, and public relations skills with a friendly, helpful personality.
- Ability to handle pressure, meet deadlines, and work effectively with guests, management, vendors, and employees.
- Must withstand extreme sun, heat, cold, and inclement weather for long periods.
- Ability to familiarize self with floorplans or maps.
Skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certifications & Licenses
- Must qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations, including a Nevada Gaming License and Health Card.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
- Requires close vision, color vision, and peripheral vision.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull up to 150 pounds.
- Must be able to reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance in varying work areas, including confined spaces.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and elemental conditions.
Work Environment

Pay
