Model-Based Systems Engineer, Mid

About the role

The Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) role combines technical skills with big-picture thinking to deliver customer-focused engineering solutions. You will provide technical direction for complex systems, design model-based systems, and develop digital twin models and architectures.

Responsibilities

• Translate real-world needs into technical specifications
• Evaluate and modernize digital engineering tools and techniques
• Create and manage tailored MBSE artifacts
• Work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Support government acquisition programs and clients

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience with Systems Engineering, Integration, and MBSE
• Experience with digital engineering tools for DoD systems
• Modeling experience with Magic Draw, Cameo, Sparx Enterprise Architect, or IBM Rhapsody
• Experience with UML or SysML
• Clearance: Secret clearance required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics
• Additional qualifications: Experience with extended systems models, scripting languages, and government engineering reviews

Pay

$61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD)

Schedule

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
