About the role
The Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) role combines technical skills with big-picture thinking to deliver customer-focused engineering solutions. You will provide technical direction for complex systems, design model-based systems, and develop digital twin models and architectures.
Responsibilities
- Translate real-world needs into technical specifications
- Evaluate and modernize digital engineering tools and techniques
- Create and manage tailored MBSE artifacts
- Work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Support government acquisition programs and clients
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience with Systems Engineering, Integration, and MBSE
- Experience with digital engineering tools for DoD systems
- Modeling experience with Magic Draw, Cameo, Sparx Enterprise Architect, or IBM Rhapsody
- Experience with UML or SysML
- Clearance: Secret clearance required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics
- Additional qualifications: Experience with extended systems models, scripting languages, and government engineering reviews

Pay
$61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD)
Schedule
Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
