Model Based Systems Engineer

About the Role

This position is for Strategic Technology Consulting (STC), an Arcfield Company. Work in Huntsville, AL on state-of-the-art systems critical to national defense. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage system requirements throughout their lifecycle.
• Utilize MBSE tools to define system architectures.
• Identify program requirements, track performance metrics, and manage the systems engineering process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of systems engineering efforts.
• Perform requirements verification and compliance assessments to support major design reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
• Experience with one or more of the following MBSE tools:
  • NoMagic MagicDraw
  • Cameo
  • SysML
  • UPDM
  • IBM Rhapsody
• Must possess and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Experience: BS 5-7 years, MS 3-5 years, PhD 0-2 years.
