Model Based Systems Engineer
About the role
We're seeking Model Based Systems Engineers (MBSEs) to support the development of a next-generation sensor system for a U.S. Navy submarine platform. This is an opportunity to help define a new system from the ground up, developing system architecture, requirements, and specifications that will drive software, hardware, integration, and testing efforts.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain MBSE artifacts using Cameo Systems Modeler and SysML
- Create and manage system and subsystem requirements, specifications, and traceability
- Build models that connect behavior, structure, interfaces, and requirements
- Develop Use Cases, Activity Diagrams, Requirements Diagrams, BDDs, and IBDs
- Support the full Systems Engineering V-Model
- Collaborate with software, hardware, integration, and test teams
- Participate in design reviews including PDRs and CDRs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years developing system and subsystem requirements/specifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cameo Systems Modeler
- Strong SysML and MBSE experience
- Experience with requirements traceability and architecture development
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience with defense, naval, submarine, sensor, or undersea systems
- Experience supporting Agile programs within a Systems Engineering V-Model environment

Pay
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $90.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
