Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Accountable for assigned programming and activities
  • Accountable for providing age appropriate services and activities to youth
  • Accountable for promoting and maintaining a culture of safety
  • Accountable for creating a fun and engaging learning environment
  • Accountable for accurate and timely documentation and reporting

Youth Program Quality

  • Accountable for fidelity of curriculum
  • Accountable for quality programming and activities
  • Accountable for implementing YPQ techniques

Requirements

  • Education and Work Experience Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred. Experience working with youth is preferred.
  • Minimum Qualifications: Ability to work during program hours; ability to be a positive role model; ability to establish rapport and build relationships; ability to relate to at-risk youth; ability to facilitate, teach, or instruct; ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual; work experience with or program knowledge of the Boys & Girls Club Movement (national and/or local Club); ability to facilitate, teach or instruct; Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification; Must be able to pass any and all required background screens and drug screens at any time; Must have reliable transportation, liability insurance, satisfactory driving record and a valid driver’s license for operation of a motor vehicle relevant to carrying out duties.

Salary: Hourly pay: $14.00
