Mobile X-Ray Technologist (ARRT)

Pay

Pay Range: $45–$50 per hour

Shift Differential:

• $2/hour after 3:00 PM
• $3/hour after 10:00 PM
• $4/hour on weekends

Schedule

Friday through Tuesday, PM shift — 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited X‑ray/radiologic technology program
• Current and valid California Radiologic Technologist (RT) license
• ARRT certification required
• Valid California driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
• Ability to travel between healthcare facilities as required
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of patient care

Responsibilities

• Perform and process X‑rays using portable digital radiography (DR) equipment and transmit images to a Radiologist for interpretation
• Transport portable X‑ray equipment into healthcare facilities and perform exams as ordered by physicians
• Obtain clinically diagnostic and technically competent radiographic images
• Scan and process examination‑related paperwork and billing documentation according to established protocols
• Communicate regularly and effectively with dispatch and management
• Interact professionally with patients, healthcare facility staff, coworkers, supervisors, and clients
• Maintain the assigned vehicle and X‑ray equipment in safe and operational condition
• Follow applicable safety, regulatory, and patient‑care procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
