Mobile Veterinarian for Pet Euthanasia Services

About the role

We are seeking a kind and professional veterinarian to perform both in-home and in-office euthanasia services for pets in the Denver metro area. This is a 1099 contractor position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to support families through end-of-life care with dignity and kindness.

Responsibilities

• Perform both in-home and in-office euthanasia services with professionalism and empathy.
• Independently drive to scheduled appointments, including in-home visits throughout the Denver area and in-office appointments at Water Bridge Aquamation.
• Educate pet owners about the euthanasia and aquamation process.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all legal and ethical veterinary standards.

Requirements

• Licensed Veterinarian in the State of Colorado.
• DEA registration to handle controlled substances.
• Liability insurance to cover professional services.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and up-to-date registration.
• Must be willing and able to transport pets back to Water Bridge Aquamation following euthanasia appointments and safely unload them into our refrigerated care area.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide compassionate end-of-life care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in hospice or end-of-life veterinary care.
• Familiarity with aquamation services.
• Ability to lift heavier pets if needed.
